How was the process of signing up to Sky's the Limit? How was the process of applying for a grant?
Hey everybody. I'm Amanda de Velez, also known as Mandy Marquee, and I'm the proud owner of Mandy marquee.com, which is your ultimate destination for the most affordable tickets to live events in New York City. Um And I'm, I'm excited to share my journey using sky is the limit with you all today. So first, let me express my gratitude for being chosen for this campaign. It's really an honor to be part of a community that has been such a positive impact on my life has made such a positive impact on my entrepreneurial journey. Um And I don't know if I can fully express how much I love sky is the limit, but I'll try. Um It's actually transformed the way that I approach my business overall. So now instead of mindlessly scrolling on Instagram and Facebook, I have redirected my time and energy into using sky is the limit and now truly eating, breathing, living my business. Um The site highlights these specific milestones that I should be reaching. Um And this guidance has been really instrumental in keeping me focused and accountable. Uh I first signed up to the site a couple months ago, so that I could secure mentor and I did a quick search online and stumbled upon Sky is the limit. And I've always been hesitant to seek mentorship because I believe it's important to compensate others for their time and insight, right? But what's really great about Sky's limit is that not only do they recognize the importance of mentorship, but they recognize the importance of incentivizing mentors for sharing their wealth of knowledge. Um The mentorship program isn't just a one way street, right? So mentors are contributing to the growth of entrepreneurs. Yes, but they're also recognized and rewarded for their time. And so this kind of creates a unique ecosystem where both the mentors and the mentees thrive together um which contributes to long term sustainability, but also leaves me feeling less guilty about not having much to offer my mentors in return for their time and energy. Um And this model is a testament to how sky is the limit values and invest in the success of all their participants. Um One of the most transformative aspects about using the site for me has been the constant, consistent support from the sky is the limit community. And while I personally have not uh won a grant just yet, the journey of gaining boats and consistently moving up um And receiving support from the community has been really inspiring for me. Um I just learned that the votes roll over. Um And I've known you can vote for yourself any number of times. And so knowing that I've come to realize that it's not a matter of if I'll win, it's just a matter of when. And that is proved to me, the sky is the limit really sets you up for success. So that motivation to be granted, funding has been a serious driving force for me. I've, I've now been inspired and motivated more than ever. So, um overall, I think it goes without say that the overarching impact of Sky is the limit on the growth of my business cannot be overstated. So just by implementing some of the suggestions provided to me, by mentors like Anthony Briggs, Scott Stevenson Tuna Low while to name a few. Um It's, it's really helped me see lots of growth in my website's visibility. Um So, yeah, thank you, Sky is the limit for being a source of support and inspiration. I'm just really excited to continue this journey with such an amazing community.
