Karla King: So first, I just want to say thank you to SkillPointe for picking me to be the recipient of the scholarship. And today I'm just gonna tell y'all a little bit about me. So I went to Florence High School. I graduated just recently and I've been working at Southwire since I was like, when I first turned 16 years old. So I really liked the job. And towards the end, I was like, ok, I think they have a scholarship and I applied and I wrote a little essay or whatever and everything I said in the essay, I meant I like working there. It was a nice job to have, it helped me pay for my first car, etc... and stuff like that. The scholarship has been helping me recently because I started college in the summertime and it's helped me pay for my books. It's helped me pay for my tuition.
Karla King: I'm going to college to be an ultrasound technologist. So I just wanna say thank you so much for making me be the recipient of the scholarship. I'm very grateful and it was a blessing to have and I just wanna say thank you and it's going to be put to well use and it's been helping me as of recently.
