Simbarashe Makonese: Hello guys, I will be sharing my experience with how I went about with the Alva Labs personality test and logic test. Well, initially, I had been applying for several posts and one of the posts, maybe I will not mention the company. They invited me to, to sit for the test for the assessment test. And then upon clicking the link, I went to the page where they showed the two types of test. Firstly, because the logic test and the personality test and uh I was supposed to complete those and they said about 15 minutes for each if I remember very well. And uh for me, the personality test, I would say it was straightforward is it was just a matter of answering the questions to review your personality. I don't think there was a right or wrong answer. But when it comes to the logic tests, I found it quite difficult. In fact, this test, the first test uh for the other company I did it without even preparation. Then I for another company which I had applied for an engineering role. They, they uh they required me to take the test in this, this time. I decided to prepare and uh there were huge differences in my results.

Simbarashe Makonese: As I mentioned earlier, I said for the testing that I found it to be in two parts. The first part was the logic test. In this other part was the personality test for me, the personality test, it was quite straightforward. I went through it without any problems and I answered all the questions within the 15 minutes. But the most challenging test for me, I would say it was the logic test. Yeah, it was quite challenging. In fact, I set, I set for this test twice now for two different companies, since I'm actually applying to different companies. So far, two companies have already requested that test. And the first company I said for the test, it was two months ago and I just went and did the test without even any preparation. I just thought, let me do this test and be done with it. And uh the logic test for me, it was actually challenging and I the result I up good from that. It was not a good result at all. I I put in five which is the average in the letter when I got also a great letter from the company. I'm sure because of that result. Then later on, I, as I was applying another company and requested for, for me to take the assessment test. And it was also made up of two parts, the personality testing, the logic test. And I felt this time I needed preparation and they just went on the internet searching for websites and on youtube. Then I, that's when I came up with the iPREP website and uh he started preparing with it. I did practice questions. I would say I did it for one full day. It, the following day I was planning to sit for the test. And after that practice, I thought I was a lot more confident and I thought I could answer much better as compared to the last time. And I did sit for the test and the result I got later on it was much better. I got an eight, which was a big improvement.

Simbarashe Makonese: My overall testing experience, I would say for the first company which had requested the assessment, I felt it was quite a big experience. Uh It was just not what I expected. Remember as I said, I took the test without any preparation and I just, it was my first time also and I thought everything would just so smoothly, but without any preparation, I found it so difficult and the experience was so bad, especially with the logic test, the personality test, I would say it was just straightforward. I didn't have any problems with it. But the logic test, you know, for me with in the first initial test, it was difficult because I took that test without any preparation. But for the other company which she requested that same test I decided to prepare in that field. I felt a lot more confident my experience later when it was much better, I would say I would recommend that with adequate preparation. I'm sure in you anybody would succeed. Yeah.

Simbarashe Makonese: I would recommend future test takers to spend more time in preparing for the logic test is it is the one which I found to be most challenging. And of course, it is, it's just either the correct answer or the wrong answer. Whereas for the personality test, you just have to be yourself, just express yourself to review your personality. So I don't think there's a problem there. But for the logic test, I recommend thorough preparation. And as I said, for me, I had visited the iPREP website, which I spent the whole day there preparing and I managed to pass and gotten it.
