I'm recording my experience with SideBy Care Mind Gut Program. It has been really helpful, Marissa is the therapist I speak with and Stephanie is the nutritionist and both are very professional, prompt, friendly, but most of all just very accessible and knowledgeable, Having had these gut issues for decades, it's become something of a a lifestyle change for me to address them and to talk about them openly and Marissa and Stephanie have created an environment where I can do that. Without feeling any embarrassment or shame, but just really speaking truth to what I experience and offering helpful advice, the breath work techniques that have been introduced have been helpful, not just with my digestive issues, but just with my life and managing stress and the support that I've received from them has been really, really beneficial. And I highly recommend the program. These sorts of issues, anything related to pooping can be, at least for me, it seems so embarrassing and hard to talk about, and I think that's a big part of the problem. But they've helped me understand that this is fairly common and made me feel just a lot more comfortable talking about it and trying to get help, which seems to be a very important first step. Not to mention their advice, their willingness to get in there and do research with me if I've got a concern. They're, all the time trying to help me figure it out and give support, so I, I highly recommend the program.
How has the program impacted your daily life or health?
The program has really had an impact on my daily life and that I start my day with a routine that trying to change my bowel habits and, sitting on the toilet every morning and just doing the breathing exercises has become something of a meditation for me. It's still a work in progress, and but I have seen improvement. And it's motivated me to want to keep trying. And again, it's just created an openness in my mind about talking about this issue and rather than just thinking I have to just live with it. So it makes Such a big difference for me. I've also just become much more mindful about what I'm eating and understanding the impact of my choices. Like what I eat definitely impacts how I feel overall. And I'm aware of these things now and it's enabling me to make changes that improve the quality of my life and how I feel in a very real and measurable way. Way and so I just want to keep going with it and keep trying all of the the techniques and tools that they're giving me and this is a problem that has existed for decades so it's not like this is these changes are happening overnight, but I do see. Incremental improvements and I'm just learning how to live differently so that I have a a different experience and a different relationship with food and with my body. And I, I'd say that's really how it's impacted my daily life.
