When did you first hear about Serve and Protect Credit Union and why did you join?
Cassie: I first heard about Serve and Protect Credit Union when I joined the police and a representative came and spoke to us about it, and they told us that money could be taken from our wages and put straight into the current account. And I thought that was a really good idea, so I signed up.
How has the credit union helped you?
Cassie: The credit union has helped me by giving me a loan of £10,000 to consolidate my debts, and it has also helped me have a place to save money and save for a house.
What is the best thing about being part of the credit union?
Cassie: The best part about being part of the credit union is being able to save money whenever I want. The money comes straight from my wages, so I don't even need to worry about putting it into the savings account myself. Which is really helpful for me, and it makes it easier to save. And also, whenever I've needed to speak to a representative, it's been really quick, really easy, and my emails are answered really quick as well.
