Why did you choose to work with Scott for your recent real estate needs?
Jack T Torlucci: I chose Scott Somsel as my real estate agent, started with him just being a great listener listening to all the detail that we were interested in what we were looking for. And you could tell as he was listening and the questions he was asking the level of attention to detail he always saw and as we walked through houses and different places, You could tell he really looked at every little detail around the house. And the other big reason was he just doesn't give up, you know, we went through some tough situations in early pandemic and he just never stopped. He kept looking and looking and working with all the different people in the process to help us find our first home.
Please describe your recent experience and what stood out for you to make it a positive experience.
Jack T Torlucci: My recent experience with Scott Somsel was buying first home for my family. And few of the things that he was, you know, above and beyond with was his proactive helping really focusing on giving us new opportunities, finding new places. As we were going through our search. And with that, he was really good at explaining every little detail, the pros and cons of each house. And, you know, one of the most important parts was he didn't push us, you know, didn't have his own agenda, was really focused on making sure we got what we wanted and make the right decision for our family.
How was your experience with Scott different from any previous real estate professionals you've worked with in the past?
Jack T Torlucci: I've worked with a handful of real estate agents, over the years and one big thing I saw different with Scott Somsel was he worked for us as opposed for working for his own self interests. He wasn't, you know, pushing us to buy a place we didn't want because he was looking at his commission, he was really focused on, you know, helping us make the decision and being supportive through the process.
Please describe a time when Scott added value to your experience, e.g. referrals to lawyers, inspectors, painters, etc.
Jack T Torlucci: Biggest added value. Scott Somsel brought to our buying experience was writing a personal letter to the buyer or sorry to the seller. And you know, she told us after she accepted us that the letter was really the reason why she accepted our offer.
Would you use Scott again and/or refer him to your family and friends. If so, why?
Jack T Torlucci: Yes, I would absolutely use Scott again. If and when we look to move, as well as I've already referred him to both friends and family and they've, you know, thanked me for getting such a thoughtful real estate agent in a tough process.
