Speaker: Brad Kabanuk, President, Content Enablers
Brad Kabanuk: Hello, my name is Brad Kabanuk and I am the president and CEO of Content Enablers.
Brad Kabanuk: Content Enablers is the premier global provider of web-based compliance training for the international trade arena, specifically export, import sanctions and embargoes and other related regulatory regimes.
Why did you decide to work with SHG?
Brad Kabanuk: When we started to think about our potential exit strategy, a few years ago, we looked at a host of different options and we did actually a global search looking for companies that were specialized in our unique industry in our market space. We talked to a lot of organizations that focused on the small and mid market type operations that we deal in.
Brad Kabanuk: But, you know, what it really came down to was we found the Schwartz Heslin operation to be, you know, both substantively qualified, but they had a local perspective, you know, that really provided a lot of comfort, you know, to me and my team.
How did SHG help you build an exit strategy?
Brad Kabanuk: Our business had grown over the last 24 years by securing key accounts from globally recognized names and brands. But we were just on the verge of a huge growth opportunity and we needed somebody that could not only learn that space
Brad Kabanuk: that space but be able to explain and communicate the opportunities of where we stood as an organization.
Brad Kabanuk: They helped us through the process successfully culminating the sale of content enablers in February of this year.
Why should someone choose to work with SHG?
Brad Kabanuk: I think that it's fair to say that our relationship with Schwartz Heslin has created some new avenues that we did not fully anticipate or expect. And I'm very excited to pursue in terms of future, future growth and future partnership and alliances through the Schwarz Heslin Network So that's been very exciting and
Brad Kabanuk: It's been fantastic to get to, to know the people involved in the organization and become friends with them and to, you know, really have, you know, a strong relationship both from a corporate corporate perspective as well as a personal perspective.
