Please could you introduce yourself?
Todd Lienart: Lienart, and I'm the Senior Director of Sales Enablement at Netlify.
What will you be discussing at the Sales Enablement Summit in San Francisco?
Todd Lienart: So, I'm gonna be talking a little bit about what it's like to be the first sales enablement hire when you're in a smaller company, and particularly one that is fast growing and some of the trials and tribulations for those of us who are in the journey from being the very first sales enablement hire and building that function out from the ground up.
What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?
Todd Lienart: One of the things I hope people take away from my session is that when you're the first employee in building sales enablement from the ground up, there's actually two things going on that you may or may not be paying attention to. One is obviously that you've got to build a program from the ground up and there's a lot of ideas for that, but there's a second more subtle thing that's going on that I'll talk about, which has to do with your relationship with the sales leadership team and putting enough work into that will really be the ticket to building a successful program.
