Speaker: Marnie Christenson, Director Partner Enablement, RingCentral
Please could you introduce yourself?
Marnie Christenson: Hi my name is Marnie Christensen, I am Director of Partner Enablement with RingCentral in Denver, Colorado.
What will you be discussing at the Sales Enablement Summit in Denver?
Marnie Christenson: So I'm gonna be talking about what I call the weird world of partner enablement. Many of us know what it takes to enable a sales team that's an employee of a company, but what about enabling a sales team that is not employed by your company, is completely independent, sells your product, but maybe also sells your competitors products, as well as a variety of other things that they all need to remember. This is why I call it the challenge and the opportunity of channel enablement. In this session I'm going to talk about the various methodologies that we've used to enable partners, some tips and tricks how to measure success, as well as how to really build the right team and find and hire for the right skill set that you'll need for this task. So I hope to see you there.
What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?
Marnie Christenson: So what nugget of wisdom am I hoping you'll take away from this talk? Well, I think I'm hoping that you'll come away with an appreciation for the subtle differences inherent in partner sales enablement. But I'm also hoping you'll come away with some really tangible ideas for how to build, grow and measure your enablement function for results.
