Speaker: Cori Hartje, Director Global Sales Enablement, Mitel
Cori Hartje: Hello, my name is Corey Hartje and I am the Director of Global Sales Enablement at Mitel.
What will you be discussing at Sales Enablement Summit Seattle?
Cori Hartje: Hello, we are really excited to share the journey that Mitel has made in the last year and a half on delivering a global sales enablement program that raises the level and sales skills of our field. It includes a comprehensive program from marketing to the front lines and then to the sales coaches. It was quite a journey because we made a decision to do it ourselves and working with our vendor. So we're going to cover a few things about our best practices and what others can take from this. Many companies have hired vendors to do this kind of work for them and we needed to save some money, and so we did it ourselves. We used vendor content and then we got certified as a as a deliverer. We'll also hand out our decision making tool on how we picked a vendor, what we did to organize and schedule all our trainers with all our people. We'll hand that out also and then how we facilitate it and how we got ready to facilitate in a professional way. It took a lot of extra work, up leveling self assessment and then we were ready to go. We'll also share our results and our results, we're really excited about, and you'll have to come and see what that session is all about and maybe you'll take some good best practices from our experience.
What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?
Cori Hartje: We believe that sales enablement is about people and maximizing their results. And we also have a philosophy that how you sell is a free sample of how you're going to serve your partners and customers. So we've developed a comprehensive program that's critical to that philosophy. We're gonna share our best practices so that you can be one step ahead of the skills implementation. If you're interested in doing something like this in any industry, the application will be appropriate and usable. We will also share some of the simple tools in spreadsheet format that we use and talk about measurement because measurement is how you're going to get the next year's investment for sustaining your program.
