How did your time at Sager Brown help you feel more connected to God and those you served with?
Rev. Josh Kouri: You see God everywhere you go at Sager Brown. You walk into that depot and you look around and there's just tables and pallets and this warehouse full of supplies and it looks like a lot of warehouses that you might find yourself in. But as soon as you start working and the staff, they find these moments to celebrate the spirituality of what we're doing. And it just very quickly becomes so apparent that Sager Brown is a holy place. And I think historically, it always has been, but that continues very much into today where there are holy moments that happen all across the week. From formal worship times to just little moments where we pause for prayer and where we connect our prayers to the saving work of God through ministries of compassion and justice.
