Congratulations on completing part one of Becoming Youth Centered. In this first part of the training I will sum it up by saying "nothing about us without us". And I think that's a good sort of summary. We've talked about authentic youth engagement. We have talked about the policies that require us to have youth participate in court hearings, in placement, permanency, and transition planning meetings. We've talked about the core values of bringing them into those spaces, right? That we wanna make sure that we prepare them, we support them, and we debrief them. We've talked about different youth participation models, really looking at Wong's typology and that pyramid that top of that pyramid being pluralistic, right? That youth-adult partnership is really what we're striving for with shared power and control as we look at co-designing, right? What are those rights and responsibilities of co-design? And then lastly, we've talked about how do we shift from a child welfare model really into a youth well-being model that focuses on young people's social and emotional needs. By nurturing these genuine partnerships and prioritizing the voices of youth and young people, we can cultivate a more inclusive, supportive and empowering environment that authentically reflects their strengths and potential. Thank you.
