What has been the best part of your experience with Rocky Mountain International Student Program?

Ida from Germany: I think I like our monthly trips the most like just even if it's just for a day for going skiing or cross country skiing, I always really enjoyed being altogether and just going on a fun little trips

Ruth from Germany: um the best part of my experience with the Rocky Mountain International Student program is probably all the trips that I did with the international students because it's just really nice to meet all those different people from the different countries. For example the Netherlands France,

Jette from Germany: my best experience so far with the Rocky Mountain International Student Program was probably curling when you watch it, it's one of the most boring sport. I think I think for watching. But When you actually play it. It's so much fun. It's harder than you think. And yeah I had on this day so much fun.

Annalotta from Germany: At the very beginning of my stay in Canada, all the international students went together to the new ski area. The weather was amazing, and I really enjoyed the nice view on the surrounding lakes. Since I love skiing, this was my favorite activity with the Rocky Mountain International Student program.

Ida from Germany: The best experience I had with Rocky Mountain International Student Program was um, the Blue Lake Camp. It was a lot of fun to spend time with my friends and we had a lot of activities going on there. It was a great experience.

Tobias from Germany: So the best part of the experience with the Rocky Mountain International Student program was definitely the, the trip to Blue Lake. Um, we did ice fishing right there. We were snowshoeing, we learned how to make a fire, and that was really fun.

Pablo from Spain: The best thing that I've done until now with the program is going in the winter camp. The winter camp was really fun because I got to do activities that I've never done, like ice fishing and more and also enjoy, enjoy and get some time with the other international students.

Aymo from Switzerland: My favorite thing about the, or my favorite experience with the RMISP was definitely the winter camp at Blue Lake. It was so funny. We had like our own cabins or cottages and we, we felt like a small village, everybody knows everyone we get along so well and the activities there are also so fun.

Lilly from Germany: My favorite part with the program so far was a trip to Echo Lake, where we stayed overnight and we did activities like snowshoeing skating or ice fishing. And it was really nice to have spent that time with all the international students.

Amelie from Germany: the trip to Blue Lake Camp and the volunteering at the Hockey Games, because you could really interact with all these people and the same time watch the hockey game.

Karolin and Julius from Germany: I really like to eat with my host family because it's always funny and play Mario kart with them. And also I laugh at all my whole family because it's nice and kind people I

Ane from Mexico: My host family for sure has been the best thing about being in Canada Since day one. They were super welcoming and excited to receive me in their home. I love that I have two little co sisters which puts me in the role of the big sister and in my real family I'm the youngest. So this is a new experience for me every time I'm not feeling good they're always there for me and they're always trying to make me happy. They always encouraged me to make Canadian friends and have a great time. We do activities together and I get to experience they can eat in culture.

Mariam from Italy: The people I met here, I have had the possibility to meet people from all over the world, not just from Canada, but like from Mexico Germany Norway spain all over the world. And thanks to the people I met here, my experience was very like it was fantastic and I learned and I'm still learning a lot from them and from their cultures that are very different from mine and people I met here in Canada will always have a special place in my heart.

Mariam from Italy: And also another part of my experience that it was like the best part was meeting my own sister. My older sister was from Mexico and in Italy I have three brothers, so I've never had a sister and I was scared at the beginning to have like a host sister because I've never had one. So I didn't know how, how was it, but it was really the best experience of my life and one

Kristel from the Netherlands : here is like meeting all the people and like doing stuff with my friends and get to know the area and ski.

Karolin and Julius from Germany: because it's nice and kind people I really like about my home state, having like another international student living at my house too. She's from Mexico and it's really fun because you can experience more cultures

Ida from Germany: The best about my home stay here, I like the fresh mountain air. It's really nice to go outside and breathe and it just feels nice and the sunsets are beautiful and the sunrises sometimes are stunning too.

Ida from Germany: many friendly people and I also really enjoy to spend time at the weekends at the ski resort skiing. And also I tried snowboarding. That was pretty fun.

Maneesha from Germany: I have been in Canada for eight months now and it has been the best experience of my life. I met so many amazing people from all different countries and I'm certain that these relationships will last for a lifetime. All these people have made my exchange year so amazing and I'm so grateful for it.

Ayaka from Japan: I think it's making friends and activity in Cranbrook or like Rocky Mountain. I could make so many friends after

Bente from Germany: And the other things, here's always stuff going on. You can go to the cinema. We have concerts, concerts, normal concerts, concerts at the ski hill, hot dog days at the ski hill. And yeah, you can join clubs, you can, you can use things in the library. There's always stuff to do.

David from Germany and Javier from Spain: This question is really difficult to answer because we had a lot of experiences, a lot of good experiences and I will not be able to say one. We have a lot of friends. Our host family brought us to a lot of different places, beautiful places. I don't know. I I would not be able to say one. We went to Calgary. Uh we went shopping. I don't know it's just really a lot of things. It's just a hard question because you do find stuff every single day I enjoy personally every single day here with friends and it doesn't matter if it's just a simple soccer practice or if it's a day skiing or an RMISP activity, you just have fun with your friends and I think it's hard to choose. Um It's maybe it's I can just say it's like skiing probably. I mean skiing in the Rocky Mountains was awesome. I don't know what was it for you Normally in Spain? I ski around one week and here is key 45 days. It was crazy that this powder is not the same than Spain powder. So yeah it was it was incredible. It was incredible.

Sofía from Mexico: is that Things are really different from where I live and I really enjoy experiencing a really different year with a lot of change. But the thing I really like the most is all the people that I've met from all over the world and all the memories that I've created with them.
