Amelia Earley: I was inspired to volunteer at the Ronald Mcdonald House because I know from personal experience, what having resources like these can, how it can help and what kind of burden it can take off of the parents and families of the children being treated in the hospital.
Amelia Earley: I love my volunteer shift at the house because it's something I can look forward to every week and being such a busy college student, knowing that I get that time to take a break from my homework and studying.
Amelia Earley: Some of the most memorable experiences I have from the house are meeting my really close friend that I have now from volunteering. And now we get to do all of the fun tasks together and take trips to the recycling center and wrap presents during Christmas time or making dinners and setting up dinners for the house. There's always fun memories that come along with those things.
