Why are you a Reproductive Justice Voter?
Tameko Patterson: So I am a reproductive justice voter because I believe it's really important that women are able to make decisions for their service and for their own bodies. Uh So the fact that we have men, especially white men, making decisions for black women's bodies is very disturbing to me. So it's very important that we get out and vote, we vote for uh politicians and legislators that are going to support our reproductive justice rights.
How does Reproductive Justice show up in your life?
Tameko Patterson: So I don't have any personal stories about reproductive justice and reproductive rights, but I um I am on the front lines in fighting whenever necessary. Um I am a member of the National Council of Legal Women. And Reproductive justice is one of our main issues that we focus on. So we will definitely be talking a lot about that and making sure that we talk to our legislators in this upcoming election season.
