Speaker: Dazon Dixon
Why are you a Reproductive Justice Voter?
Dazon Dixon: Why am I a reproductive justice voter? I think I'm a reproductive justice voter because one, I'm a black woman and black women created reproductive justice as a way of defining our own sexual and reproductive realities in a way that addresses the different intersections that affect us every day, all day two. Why not? If I'm gonna talk about a framework that's gonna truly achieve liberation for everybody and start with the liberation of women, especially black women. The reproductive justice is the very framework that we need and that's how I'm gonna cast my vote is for whomever and whatever policy supports my ability to do just that. And three. Well, because I'm a voter to start with from the day I turned 18 every single year and now that we have reproductive justice as a framework, a pathway to our full liberation. Then that's how I'm gonna vote every single year for the rest of my life.
