Please briefly introduce yourself.
Deb Curry: Hello, my name is Deb Curry, and I'm a risk adjustment director with Medical Mutual. I've been coding for 30 years and doing risk adjustment for over 12.
In a few sentences, what will you be speaking about at our event?
Deb Curry: This year at RISE West I'll be doing an all day workshop, kind of taking a deeper dive, getting into the weeds with risk adjustment. It's like a second level to the risk practitioner where we're going to learn a little bit more about data validation, more about financial impacts, the OIG compliance and risk mitigation impacts, and proper documentation for medical record retrospective reviews.
What are you most looking forward to at the event?
Deb Curry: One of the things that I'm most looking forward to at the event is the opportunity to network and see friends that I've made over going to RISE for over the last 10, almost 12 years that I've been going to RISE, and I love learning new information. I love confirming that what we're doing is right and really just that opportunity to connect with one another.
