What's your name, and how are you connected to Riley's Way? Why do you support Riley's Way?
My name is Gia Gambino and I'm the Co-Chair of the Youth Advisory Board and I'm Elizabeth Gambino, I'm the proud mom of Gia and a big supporter of Riley's Way. I've been a part of Riley's Way for almost six years now and I continue to support Riley's Way because they believed in me as a leader and gave me the tools to grow as a person and to be a part of projects that make a real difference to the communities that I'm a part of and that I love. Riley's Way has also given me a community that I love and they really care about making the world a better place. Everything that Riley's Way is inspires everything I do every day. Over the years. I've watched as Gia has emerged into the leader she is today, gaining confidence and skills through starting her own nonprofit and leading and developing many of the important and impactful projects that Riley's Way has put out into the world. These are things that impact the communities that we live in, the communities that we love. They've given us all so many skills, resources, love, support to enable Gia and the other participants in Riley's Way to really be able to make their dream come true in terms of how they want to leave the world a better place. At the end of the day, I find Riley's Way to be incredibly inspiring to me, especially as they are working to normalize a new way of leadership, a kind of leadership we don't often see, but one that is kind and humanizing in the way that it shows up, in the way that it treats people. This is something that the world desperately needs.
