Hi everyone. I'm Sophie Beren, Founder and CEO of the Conversationalist, We're a nonpartisan educational platform empowering young people like you to use your voices, break open your echo chambers and unify the world around you and how do we do that through conversation? Which is why I'm so excited to be leading a workshop for Riley Way for their upcoming Youth Leadership Retreat. I'm gonna be talking to you about all things, navigating difficult conversations, breaking open your echo chamber and learning how to come together with people you may disagree with. Anya Dillard: Hi, my name is Anya Dillard. I'm a social entrepreneur, content creator and model from West Orange, New Jersey. I am also the founder of the next gen Come up. I'm inviting you to join me for the Be Revolutionary Workshop to learn how to tell your public narrative, organized effectively, network and brand yourselves to becoming the gen z thought leaders of the future.
Zoe Stoller: Hi, my name is Zoe Stoller. My pronouns are she/they I am so excited to be joining Riley's Way and the Youth Leadership Retreat this year. I'll be participating on a panel discussion and also leading a workshop about how to build community through social media and I myself and my social media content creator. I love to spread LGBTQ education and mental health visibility through the power of social media, and I'm also currently getting my Master's in social work to work with the LGBTQ community in an official way like that. So I'm very, very excited to meet you all and to learn more about you and also share more about my journey. Thanks so much and I'll see you there.
Hi everyone. My name is Alexia. I use she/they pronouns, and I'm from Austin, Texas. I'm a grassroots environmental justice organizer. I work on a variety of campaigns, from fighting for clean water to relocating toxic tank farms, and I'm also the co founder of Start Empowerment. We are a social environmental justice education nonprofit, and we work with youth to implement justice centered programming and curriculum.
Gillian Johnson: Hi, my name is Gillian Johnson. I'm from San Diego, California, and I run an organization called Recovery Meetups. Recovery Meetups helps empower high schoolers who are recovering from disordered eating or an eating disorder by connecting them to each other through weekly meetups. Meetups are led by meet up mentors, other high schoolers who are passionate about mental health or community service, and meet ups take place in two parts. The first part being a process section um where participants can get to share um and feel listened to and empathize with from their fellow peers. And the second part being an open group initiative section, where participants can connect to values that they see within themselves, that they see within other movements outside of their recovery, and with their own recovery journey to help fuel the recovery journey all the way.
Anika Nayak: Hi everyone, My name is Anika Nayak I am a Team Mentor for this year's upcoming 2022 Riley's Way Foundation Youth Leadership Retreat and I'm originally from Tampa, Florida, but I actually go to school in Berkeley California. I attended the Retreat in 2019 at Timber Lake Camp with the Ryan Nece Foundation and I'm really excited to be hosting a workshop at this upcoming Retreat.
Isabella Hanson: Hi, I'm Isabella Hanson and I'm from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. At the Retreat, I'll be hosting my I Matter Poetry and Art workshop.

Ariane Busia: Hi, my name is Ariane, and I'm a 10th grade student from New York City. I'm one of the Chief Operating Officers of Confident Healthy Women, which is a nonprofit organization fighting against the hidden crisis of period poverty. I work across all sectors of our organization but focused mainly on graphic design, research and social media management, and I'm super excited to be able to share what I've learned in the process with you all soon.
Leia Karczmer : Hi everyone. I'm Leia. I'm 15 and a sophomore from New York City. Some things you might want to know about me are that my favorite color is blue. I really like sports and I have two siblings. I'm also currently one of the Chief Operating Officers of an organization called Confident Healthy Women and at Confident Healthy Women. We work to eradicate period poverty. We do this by donating period and hygiene care packages to people in our New York City community, as well as educating people on period poverty and other issues surrounding menstruation on our social media. As one of the Chief Operating Officers at Confident Healthy Women I oversee the day to day life of our organization, working in all fields such as donations, social media and expansion. I'm so excited to have this opportunity to come to this Retreat and I can't wait to meet all of you.
