Speaker: Luke Krumtinger, Director, Benefit & Claims Operations
Tell us about you.
Luke Krumtinger: Hello. Right way. My name is Luke Krumer. I'm the Director of Benefit and Claims Operations, uh which involves Pharmacy benefit config or coding and data exchange. Uh I live in Phoenix Arizona with my wife and two boys, which I believe makes me one of the few west coasters at right way. Um I chose to work at right way for a number of reasons. I'd say first, I have the honor to work with uh an amazing team. Um some of the most dedicated professionals uh that I've ever met. Um Second and maybe most importantly, I believe right way uh is influencing change um in the greater PB M ecosystem after spending like 20 plus years in PB M. Um I've experienced a lot of different flavors. Um And it's the level of transparency that right way is committed to uh that has made me want to be a part of this team for a very long time. Um It's arguably the best decision I've ever made in my career.
What does implementation season look like for you and your team?
Luke Krumtinger: Implementation season. Uh It's essentially what we prepare for throughout the entire year um benefits uh data exchange. Uh We're consistently implementing clients. Um usually January through uh October. But once October November hits, that's when our busy season starts. Um it's the uh change of um annual benefits for existing clients, but it's also the opportunity of bringing on new business. Uh So this involves many meetings, um requirements, gathering uh coding testing, um working with internal partners to set up all the necessary tools and um data streams that we need to be successful for 11. So yeah, this is, this is our, our go time for lack of a better term.
How are we tracking towards 1/1/24?
Luke Krumtinger: Within PB M operations. We uh use a number of different resources for a higher level view. Uh monday.com boards to track progress of 2024 implementations from our granular detailed approach we use Jira um which allows us to manage individual tasks um that uh each team is working on. Uh And then internally we have um slack email cues uh and then uh weekly meetings um to help align. Uh because when communicating with clients and internal partners being kind of on that same page, that's extremely important and there's a lot of overlap between data exchange and benefit configuration. Um And then as a department, we have an extremely high standard for quality and accuracy. Uh So throughout the year um and then leading into uh implementation season, um we work with different partners just to ensure that we have all the tools necessary to be successful. Um from a Q A perspective.
