What were you struggling with before you found the course?
Jenna: Before I started the course I was dealing with long COVID symptoms including low energy, some orthostatic intolerance and lots of anxiety and nervous system disregulation.
How did this course help? Be specific, give examples or stories.
Jenna: I feel like the course helped me to better understand the nervous system and to get some strategies to help. For me, usually calming down the sympathetic nervous system. It was also helpful in getting strategies to cope with crashes when I would get overwhelmed and find that my body would go into shutdown.
What makes this course stand out from other things you've done before in your Long Covid recovery?
Jenna: This course is unique because it focuses on the poly vagal nervous system approach. And instead of more general COVID wellness strategies like pacing or nutrition or generals, stress management, things like yoga and breathing and such, I think this is helpful because its narrow focus allowed for a deeper understanding of the topic and gave specific examples that dealt with regulating the nervous system. It didn't try to do everything, it tried to do one thing well and provided focused support for nervous system.
