What challenge did you have before working with Pete & Emily?
Tim Follett: We have a challenge because our software has potentially a lot of different types of customer. And before we started working with Pete, we were getting pulled in lots of different directions and what Pete did was come in and focus us on a core type of Ideal Customer Profile that we wanted to sell to. And from that point on, we were able to focus around that and start to build some significant traction.
What did you like about them and how they worked with you?
Tim Follett: What was great with Pete was that he was able to work with us in a way where there was no ego. There was this style of weighing up the pros and cons of different approaches without a, "I think you must clearly do this", type of approach and he really wanted to get under the skin of our business and our industry and that's worked really well for us.
What results did you get with Pete & Emily?
Tim Follett: We've been able to focus much more clearly on what type of organization we want to sell to. And that's driven up our contract values. It's increased our ability to acquire clients. And the other area where Pete has been really instrumental is helping me as a founder, navigate some of the challenges around building a business and hiring people and getting them to work efficiently, get the best out of people, when I was doing this for the first time. And that for me having him there as counsel, as someone to help guide me through some tricky times has been absolutely invaluable.
