What challenge did you have before working with Pete & Emily?
Jonnie Cartmill: I got in touch with Pete when I was stepping into a new executive role as VP Sales for a fast growing startup. I heard Pete on a podcast and a lot of the content that he was sharing really resonated with me. So I sent him a message we got in contact in the rest is history. But he's been an incredible sparring partner for me during that role and also on my own venture over the last few months, both from a strategic aspect, but also just to have that sound board from somebody that had been there and done that many times over.
What did you like about them and how they worked with you?
Jonnie Cartmill: I've been working with Pete now for well over three years, which is testament to the value that I've received from the time spent with him. Our conversations are often prepared where we come in with a specific problem or a challenge that we're trying to solve. The tactical approach and strategic approach to solving those problems has been extremely useful for me. I think Pete's experience and frameworks have really helped me to channel my thinking. But I've also enjoyed the nonstructured conversations where I get to think out loud and navigate my thinking together with his support.
What results did you get with Pete & Emily?
Jonnie Cartmill: In my previous company, Pete helped me to develop my career from VP of Sales through to a Chief Sales Officer role, taking on more responsibility on a global level across both sales, customer success, and also partnerships. That was an incredible experience that also helped us to raise over $200 million from series A to series C. In my most recent role, building my own start up from the ground up, we've raised over $400,000 in pre-seed funding and we've secured our first paying clients with a strong pipeline of future business as well. And I think the support and tactical advice that Pete has given has really helped to shape that success.
