Speaker: Dan Waldschmidt, CEO, Panzura

What challenge did you have before working with Pete & Emily?

Dan Waldschmidt: My specific challenge. And the reason why I reached out to Pete for help was I heard him presenting at the CRO Academy that he was leading, I think it was on behalf of Pavilion. And I was a first time cro I had been CEO I had been other c level positions, board level positions, but didn't have the level of that specific knowledge to go super deep that I felt like I needed to be the best cro in the world. And so I reached out to Pete for help and said, how can you help me unpack this area and sort of force feed all of this knowledge to me um so that I can achieve the best results possible for my organization.

What did you like about them and how they worked with you?

Dan Waldschmidt: One of the things that I appreciated so much in working with Pete was his adaptability. Like a lot of c suite leaders, your business changes fast and so often the things we had talked about a week ago were now on pause and new initiatives or new strategies or new areas of insights became more compelling and a higher priority. And regardless of the change or the redirection or the tweak, you know, Pete always seemed to be able to deliver that pithy bit of insight to spark the acceleration we needed to take our business to that next level.

What results did you get with Pete & Emily?

Dan Waldschmidt: There are two sets of results that I'm really proud of in working with Pete specifically, one is the dollars and cents. So 450% growth, there's the A RR thresholds that we exceeded you. You can get stuck at 10 million or 20 million or 30 million. A RR and we were able to blow past all of them on our, on our growth. Um There's the back to back inc 5000 awards. There's a few other awards. There is the ability for us to land enterprise clients at a pace. We just had not been able to do previously and, and working with, with Pete and his team. But the, the more powerful thing, the thing that I'm really proud of and excited about is a new level of executive performance that has allowed me to take very complex subjects and using Pete's style of distilling everything down into threes, take very complex, compelling challenges and to be able to summarize them and remove some of the risk when presenting to the board. It's a powerful skill and I'm super proud I use it every day and if you haven't had a chance to work with Pete, you'll be blown away by his ability to take something that's very nasty and gnarly and confusing and then return back to you information that seems so stunningly clear.
