What challenge did you have before working with Pete & Emily?

Arlo Hill: As a start up founder, I often find it so difficult to find clarity because you feel pulled in 10 different directions by 10 seemingly urgent things, and being able to figure out what to prioritize and then put my full attention on that, rather than being distracted by something that seems urgent, is an enormous challenge.

What did you like about them and how they worked with you?

Arlo Hill: Pete has this remarkable ability to just really listen to whatever I come to him with, whether it's a Go-To-Market question, a specific issue we're having internally or a huge existential issue as a start up founder and, to distill that sort of nebulous question down into something very, very specific and then give clear helpful actionable advice every time, that never feels formulaic or like he's given it 1000 times before, but it's always incredibly appropriate and helpful for the circumstance. It allows me to go away feeling like I'm able to take on that challenge immediately.

What results did you get with Pete & Emily?

Arlo Hill: When I first started working with Pete, I was a solo founder trying to build a start up with very little traction and almost no revenue. And over the course of our time working together, I went from that to recruiting a co-founder, building a team of eight, closing our first contracts including our first three year contract. And I would say a lot of that has been due to the skills I acquired from working with Pete. the storytelling, he helped me with the narrative build as well as the very tactical advice along the way.
