So this presentation is going to be relevant for anyone working with families, or parents, or children. Certainly, especially therapists. But also people working in other capacities, if you are a social worker or working within a school program, for example, things like that, anyone who's working in a way with the family, building a bond, collaborating with the family, can benefit from this. But it will of course be focused primarily on people doing psychotherapy work. But it does extend to other disciplines too. There are many things, but the first thing is that it will make a difference in terms of the pace of your work. So slowing down is a crucial aspect of it. Everything needs to be slowed down because if we're not slowed down, we can't regulate ourselves and we certainly can't co-regulate and help our clients feel safe. So it makes a big difference in that way. It also really opens up so many opportunities for reflecting more in-depth about all the non-verbal things being transmitted and communicated. All the things that we know is not being said directly, but it's going on. We work so much in all of the psychodynamic modalities with that, we know that there's so much that's so important there. And when you bring in the the somatic techniques, you can really expand on understanding all of that non-verbal, all the non-verbal aspects which we know is where we build relational bonds with our clients. That's where the therapeutic alliance is built up.
