Rene Zipper: Good morning. My name is Rene Zipper and currently I am Vice President of Growth for Waystar. We focus on the hospital & healthcare space, mostly hospitals. And I am so thrilled to have come across Jeff & Recruit Rockstars and taking a chance on Shortlist. At the time, I was with a previous company and there was no allowing of using recruiters. And so I literally, I was doing this on my own and I thought: You know what? Even if I have to pay for this myself, I'm going to give the Shortlist an opportunity. And not only did I find one person, I found 3 people that I hired from the first time that I used Shortlist. What I liked about it was the opportunity to have control of the hiring process. These were people who said they would talk with me. These were people that were identified by me, with the team at Recruit Rockstars of qualities and backgrounds that I was looking for. I couldn't have been more thrilled. Fast forward to my current role. As any of you know, the hiring right now it is a frenzy and finding people is quite difficult. I am able to use recruiters. But ironically, I said "for the cost of the Shortlist, let's try this role" It was a Regional Director role in Sales (SaaS company) And we also did pay recruiters 30 times what we played for Shortlist. And I absolutely found a Rockstar. And so I absolutely highly recommend utilizing Jeff and the team. They're responsive. They listen. Once you figure out your system, it literally puts the control back in your hands as the hiring manager. I couldn't be more excited and thrilled to use Shortlist. So go for it... especially in a time right now when finding people is difficult.
What was the outcome of your Shortlist?
Rene Zipper: The outcome of the Shortlist. I've had 2 experiences. So, the first, I actually found three exceptional people. Three. And the second time I used Shortlist, I found one other Rockstar, somebody who was not looking and absolutely filled the role of a Regional Director in Sales for a SaaS company. So it has been a win/win experience.
What do you love most about Shortlist?
Rene Zipper: What I love most about the Shortlist is the fact that the team goes after people who are not necessarily looking for a role. So in comparison when you are the organizations I've been, who have put jobs on LinkedIn per se, the type of candidate you get is very different than the candidates that I would receive through Shortlist. So that in itself & getting back the control of your hiring process. That's what I love about Shortlist.
Would you recommend Shortlist to others? Why?
Rene Zipper: I would recommend Shortlist to others. Number one: in a time of finding people that's difficult like now, you have nothing to lose. I find for the cost of Shortlist and the people that you're gonna get from Shortlist is very different than you will even from recruiters or from job postings. So I've had 2 experiences with Shortlist and they've both been exceptional. So I highly recommend it for you to give Shortlist a shot.
