Please introduce yourself.
John Peters: Hi, my name is John. I'm the Founder of Amberjack Shoes. We're a new shoe company that I started In 2021. We used Recruit Rockstars for a recent Marketing role that we hired for.
What was the outcome of your Shortlist?
John Peters: We were able to find amazing talent with the service Recruit Rockstars. I guess it's Shortlist now. Really, really easy. The whole thing took maybe five minutes of my time and found talent basically the same way I was trying to do it myself beforehand. Reaching out to people individually on LinkedIn. As opposed to getting inbound talent from posts. We were able to find, a lot higher quality folks who are not practically looking, but we're open and opportunistic about different opportunities. And then finding some really, really high quality people and exactly within the specifications that we needed. And it was really simple. All we did was share a sample profile of a similar candidate And they took care of the rest.
What do you love most about Shortlist?
John Peters: Two things: ease of use and the success. As simple as that. It was really easy. I didn't have to waste time with some 30 minute or hour long onboarding call. The whole setup seriously took me maybe five minutes. And then the quality of candidates was just what we had expected. That's kind of all you can ask for. Well worth the value.
Would you recommend Shortlist to others? Why?
John Peters: Yes, absolutely. I already have, to a number of people without being prompted and without any reward because -as a Founder and CEO- I spend a ton of my time trying to find people and recruit people. And I know a lot of my friends who are in similar positions spend the same. And so just honestly helping them by recommending the service has been, has been great and I think a no brainer.
