Tell us about the work you're doing and why it's so important
Gary Wills: Talent Today is very much a video focused recruitment company specialising in the IT project delivery world. So think of anything from project managers, program managers PMO's business analysts. We look to try and fast track the recruitment process. So it enables that the hiring manager can actually do their day-to-day job and we take that first stage interview away from them.
What impact has your work had on your clients and candidates?
Gary Wills: The impact that Talent Today has had on its clients and its candidates is that it's removed that unconscious bias from the recruitment process. It's given more candidates the opportunity to land their jobs and to get their CV's seen. It's also removed a lot of time from the interview process. So rather than working with four or five recruitment agencies and receiving 20-30 CV's instead, the client just receives a video shortlist of the best candidates in the market, all video interviewed all in one place.
What do you have planned for the future?
Gary Wills: There's a lot of exciting things coming this year actually. So as well as focusing in the IT project delivery world, we are now gonna be venturing into a new market, which is gonna be the green energy and electrical vehicle charging sector. On top of that, at some point, we are gonna be looking to hire as well as running the New York marathon and supporting and connecting with Cure Leukemia, which is the chosen Talent Today charity. So lots of things to look forward to this year.
