Episode 28: And I think one of the things that you and the team have done really well with this manifesto is make sure that whatever we're seeing aligns to the, the kind of the wider view that politicians are taking is a manifesto that's just special pleading for recruiters. Much as though I'm sure all of the items would be entirely justifiable and very worthwhile. It isn't going to be as attractive to uh politicians with multiple briefs to look after than something which does link into this question of growth. Uh which is the only way that tax rates come down and public services are well funded that, that demonstrates that those the solutions that we're putting forward, which are beneficial for the industry are also actually beneficial, much more broadly for uh the public good. That's why we talk a lot of the rec about making great work happen because actually the rec is persuasive where we're demonstrating the difference that the industry makes to workers and to, to the uh to the economy. And I think the um the themes of the manifesto pick that up in that they are, you know, the specific asks are by definition specific and they're very focused. There is, of course something on Ir 35 in there, there's something on the apprenticeship levy, there's something on uh on, on, on immigration, there's something on uh what is more than something, it's quite a lot on regulation for our industry.
