Chris Mapp: My name's Chris Matt. I'm the Director here at Somnium Recruitment. Areas of specialism are head office and commercial and industrial and warehouse. In locations: We cover Milton Keynes, Bedford and Luton.
Tell us about the work you're doing and why it's so important
Chris Mapp: Across Milton Keynes, Bedford and Luton. We all know these three towns are very multicultural, with people from different ethnicities, different religions, different backgrounds, people from all walks of life. The work that we're doing here at Somnium is super important because we're championing diversity and inclusion across the recruitment process and giving everybody a fair chance.
What impact has your work had on your clients and candidates?
Chris Mapp: At Somnium, we support many local charities including Peach Hospice, YMCA, Alzheimer's Society and Save the Children. Supporting the local community is something that's really important to us.
What do you have planned for the future?
Chris Mapp: We're having a rebrand, We're renaming the business and we're gonna be at the forefront of championing DE&I in the recruitment process. There's lots and lots of exciting things happening here at Somnium.
