Describe your Re.Group Retreat experience.
Alison Feinauer: Hi, my name is Allison, and I loved the Re.group Retreat.
Alison Feinauer: At that season in my life
Alison Feinauer: it had been six months of burnout and I just felt empty.
Alison Feinauer: I really didn't know what to expect, and I remember every moment of those three days very, very vividly.
Alison Feinauer: It just took me to a different place and just knowing that the mind and the body and the soul, were all connected, that God wanted to be part of all of those...
Alison Feinauer: ...it just gave me clarity.
Alison Feinauer: Prophetic things that came through -
Alison Feinauer: I just felt so known and intimate with God.
Alison Feinauer: We just had lots of space and time.
Alison Feinauer: It was a bit of teaching and it was very, like, some educational pieces
Alison Feinauer: and then also the application and taking it away was really good.
Alison Feinauer: I really enjoyed all of it.
Alison Feinauer: Coming out of there, I knew I had a peace about what God had next for me.
Alison Feinauer: The tools that they gave me, I literally could take them away and go do them.
Alison Feinauer: Just all the visuals along with the spiritual, like all the things just kind of flowed together.
Alison Feinauer: I would do it again in a heartbeat. I hope I get to go back to do it to do it again and and even go to a deeper place with the Lord.
How has your life been impacted since attending a Re.Group Retreat? What has been the most significant takeaway?
Alison Feinauer: I just feel my body and that has been the most impactful, and I think it's because the teachings taught me what that time does for me and knowing the application for me and then feeling the benefits of that and how it's helped me endure ministry and really thrive through ministry. That's been that's been the biggest impact. So yeah, it's been good.
Why should women consider going on retreat with Re.Group?
Alison Feinauer: I think you should go on it. Whether you're in a place that you're you're in a really good spot or you're in a place of you, you need God desperately. You're the end of yourself both places. I think God meets you wherever you are and He he loves when you take time away from your everyday regular rhythms and you set time aside for Him.
Alison Feinauer: So if you say, "I don't have time to step away from my job and my family and all that stuff" for three days,
Alison Feinauer: He [God] can do so much for you in the three days you're on that retreat that you can't do for yourself.
Alison Feinauer: So I would consider it. You're letting the Lord minister to you in that time; you're on the receiving end when so many times we are giving, giving, and giving, and so to be able to spend that time for yourself is is really special.
Alison Feinauer: So why not come away and actually get your mind fed and then it actually nourishes your soul. And there's healing in it. So that's why I loved it. Hopefully you'll get some of that, too!
