What does your company specialize in?
Jan Trautmann: At Kipu We develop application- and hardware- specific quantum algorithms for a wide range of industries. With our maximum compressed algorithms we solve industry problems involving a large number of qubits, with the goal of finding a new path towards quantum advantage.
Why did you choose to partner with QuEra?
Jan Trautmann: We partner with QuEra since we strongly believe in the scalability of neutral- atom based quantum computers, we see QuEra as a major play in the hardware space, especially when it comes to demonstrating quantum advantage, their commitment to pushing the boundaries of quantum computing technology aligns perfectly with our vision.
Together with QuEra, what benefits are you hoping to deliver to customers?
Jan Trautmann: Lately, we had an opportunity to work with a Spanish customer Mas Movil (part of Orange) to optimize a complex telecommunications network. For this project, we ran our compressed algorithms on QuEra's state of the art neutral-atom quantum computers. We demonstrated that with today's hardware, we can effectively tackle industry-relevant problems in network optimization of significant size. We are confident that together with QuEra, we can deliver direct business value to other industries as well.
