What does your company specialize in?
Antonio Corghi, Matteo Chiesa: Hello, I'm Antonio. I'm equity partner at BIP and founder of BIP xTech. BIP is a management and technology consulting firm established in 2003 and now accounts more or less 6000 professionals worldwide. We support our clients in the journey towards the digital AI transformation by blending together a two-sided approach from a business process perspective and from a technology one. BIP xTech is the center of excellence on data, AI, and cloud technologies. But we also study new technologies such as quantum computing to really support of our clients in understanding what is the value from this technology, which are the potential use cases, and a road map for the technology adoption.
Why did you choose to partner with QuEra?
Antonio Corghi, Matteo Chiesa: Hello, I'm Matteo. I'm the Data and AI director in BIP xTech and currently I'm leading the quantum computing team here. we decided to partner with QuEra, born in Boston where there is the most technologically-relevant square mile on the planet, because we think that QuEra is very promising in the neutral atom technology will be probably the most relevant technology in quantum computing for the following years.
Together with QuEra, what benefits are you hoping to deliver to customers?
Antonio Corghi, Matteo Chiesa: Together with QuEra, we believe that this is the right time for our customers to explore the quantum computing technology in order to gain a competitive advantage on the market. First of all, because of the understanding in terms of maturity of the technology itself, so they can really design and develop a roadmap to adopt the technology in the production environments. Secondly, there's a matter of use cases to understand which are the use cases where our customers can really take a benefit and advantage by the technology adoption, ranging from machine learning to optimization and simulation. Last but not least the piloting of the technology. Starting now piloting the technology can really allow our customers to understand which are the skill sets, which are the competencies, which are the challenges they will have to face when the technology will go into the real adoption life cycle. So overall this is the best moment to explore the quantum computing technology. And with QuEra, we want really to go for an awareness campaign in the next few months to work throughout our customers in so they can start exploring the technology.
