What advice would you give to a fellow mental health provider?
Veronica Avedician: The advice that I would give a fellow mental health provider would be to ensure that you are taking care of yourself and really practicing what you preach – which might be easier said than done. But, is so necessary given that you are giving so much of yourself, and your attention, and time to your clients, and your family, and all the other responsibilities that you have throughout the day. But being present for your clients can be... can be very taxing. So, really making sure that you are really doing the things that you are telling your clients to do. That you are also being mindful and doing those things for yourself.
