Speaker: Marc Uitterhoeve, CEO, Dexter Agency

Please introduce yourself and your company.

Marc Uitterhoeve: Hi, I'm Mark Uitterhoeve, and I'm the CEO of Dexter Agency. Dexter Agency is a conversion rate optimization agency. And what we do is we improve the revenue of e-commerce stores. And we do that by conducting research on how our website is performing and what the audience is looking for and what bothers them. And then we know, Ok, these are things that we can use and utilize, to improve the flow and the copy and the whole experience of the people that are visiting a certain e-commerce store. And we do that actually with A/B test. So we're not going to, you know, say, hey, change this, change that and we'll hope for the best. We're actually creating like test versions and we're sending traffic to both the original website and the test variant. And we're going to see, which one converts best or which one generates the most revenue and we only implement, of course the winners. And that is a very sustainable way of growing the website because we are very passionate about making informed decision, not just based on gut feeling but also on data that improves your revenue.

Share your experience with QA Madness services and their impact on your service.

Marc Uitterhoeve: We started working with QA Madness about a year ago in June 2022. And the reason we did that is because in our work, it's very important that A/B test runs smoothly on all devices, operating systems and browsers. And that's why a quality assessment, a quality assurance is super important in our work. And the thing is it just takes up a lot of time and effort. And our consultants have to do a lot of things. They have to do research, they have to do analysis, they have to brief test, they have to make sure to have good contact with clients and the QA takes up a lot of time. And we were like, Ok, we can free up maybe that time so that they can focus on their other tasks. So we got into contact with QA Madness and they assigned us Alexandra who is doing great work for us. She is actually super detailed and also very clear, saying “Ok, this is the issue and I can replicate that in this environment on this browser”. So that our developers also know what they need to improve. And that actually reduced a lot. Also, our issues with testing because we did a good job, but we were not specialists and sometimes you know with deadlines, there was a bit of a rush and therefore like a tiny bug came into play and with Alexandra, from QA Madness it really reduced the number of bugs. And yeah, it just improved also the experience for our clients, they really trust us, that we deliver good work. So it has been really a great experience for us and we actually are still working with them as well.

What is your impression of communication with the QA Madness team?

Marc Uitterhoeve: The communication with QA Madness is great. We communicate mainly with Alexandra, Bogdana and Daria. Alexandra is our QA specialist from QA Madness. And you know, she's very open, very easy to talk to and very respectful and also just really listens to what you say. So you don't have to constantly repeat what you want to improve or what you want to change your processes. She just understands it and that, that's just easy to work with. Now, Bogdana and Daria they often message, for example, when Alexandra would have a day off or when there's a holiday and they inform us pretty much on time and also offer a replacement, which is actually great because you're not dependent on someone's holiday that certain things are not being done. They give a replacement who actually does the work and we don't really feel much of a difference in the sense of like, oh wow, this is really someone different who does not as a good work or better work than Alexandra does. It's a pretty consistent flow of work delivered of quality. So that's been really great.
