? What's your nursing superpower? ?♀️??#NurseHero
Sarah Muniz, RN: So my name is Sarah, and I have been a nurse at PureDropIV since November of 2021. And prior to becoming a Mobile Drip Team nurse, I worked in the ICU. And I think my nursing superpower as a critical care nurse is my ability to explain things to patients and their family members in a way that they can understand it. And that makes sense to them so that they feel confident and empowered with knowledge about their care, the care that we provide in the IC U is so complex and so being able to break it down in a way that people understand was just such a important thing that I felt I was able to provide to my patients in that setting. Uh And so when I became a mobile drip team nurse, I wanted to continue to bring that level of knowledge and understanding to my patients and my clients in their home when they received IV hydration services. So making sure they understood what I was doing and why I was doing it and walking them through every step of the process uh became kind of one of my, my signature ways of, of providing services to my clients.
? Any standout experiences you've had with a PureDropIV client? ??⚕️ #IVMDT
Sarah Muniz, RN: Being a mobile drip team nurse offers so many opportunities for standout moments with clients because so often we go into people's homes when they are feeling at their worst and we leave and they're feeling so much better. So, um there are so many opportunities for these types of moments, but um one of the more long term moments that comes to mind for me was a client that I started seeing very early on in my mobile drip team career. Uh They are a um a military veteran and they were looking for improvement in their nutritional status, um particularly because they felt that it was affecting their mental health. And so we took time to go over, you know, their health history, their diet, how they live their life in general and what they were looking for. And um came up with, you know, a great, you know, selection of treatment options for them to try. And it was really amazing to see month, over month after every single appointment, how much better they felt. And then over time, our conversations changed and you could just tell how much better they were feeling and more positive. And um, you know, you could genuinely tell that their life had been improved because of, you know, the care they were taking of their, of themselves. And so that to me is one of the most rewarding uh experiences I've had with a client to see the long term benefits of IV hydration therapy and, and what it can offer people when they stick with it.
?What lights you up about being a Mobile Drip Team RN @ PureDropIV? ? ?? #MDTRN
Sarah Muniz, RN: I no longer work in the field as a mobile drip team nurse. I now have the very high honor of recruiting and training our mobile drip team nurses and building the incredible team that we have and something I've become really passionate about in that time is building upon the education and knowledge that we have about this innovative therapy that we're offering to people, making sure that the information we're providing to our clients is evidence based um based in fact and research and making sure that our nurses are competent and comfortable sharing that information. And it is just so validating for me when our clients leave such nice reviews or, you know, call email text to let us know how incredible their nurses are and how knowledgeable they are and how much better they feel after their appointment. Um Those are such huge motivating factors for me. It lets me know that we're doing the right thing and that we are, you know, pushing for more accountability and you know, a more holistic but still medical approach to providing this type of service to our clients.
