Carrie Tyler: The September I'm honoring my son Braelyn who was born at 24 weeks, weighing 1 lb 3 ounces. He is now nine years old and just started the fourth grade.
Tell us why NICU Awareness Month is important to your family.
Carrie Tyler: NICU awareness month is important to our family because it allows us the opportunity to be able to give back to our local NICU It also allows us the opportunity to be able to share our story and hopes that it reaches someone else who may be going through the same things that we did.
