Speaker: Alon Golan
Alon Golan: Hey, everyone. My name is Alon Golan, Product Marketing Manager at Odix.
What will you be discussing at Product Marketing Summit Tel Aviv?
Alon Golan: I'm genuinely excited and honored to participate in the Product Marketing Summit in Tel Aviv to discuss the transition into product marketing. I've been blessed to pursue my passions, exploring both technical and creative fields, from network engineering to storytelling, between cybersecurity and filmmaking. It was those experiences who helped me in finding my voice as a product marketer. In the panel, I will share my personal story and demonstrate how past experiences, both positive and negative helped me in fulfilling my current role. I hope to inspire others to cross the rubicon and join the PMM community.
If you could share one piece of advice to PMMs who are just getting into the industry, what would it be?
Alon Golan: While it seems pretty general, my top advice for those looking to break into product marketing is to be proactive, focused and confident. When you utilize your unique past experience, traits and abilities, not only do you generate a compelling story that resonates, but you create a value that is unique and engaging. You should keep in mind to revisit all the time, your personas to ensure their needs and pain points haven't been changed, and above all, communicate whenever possible with other product marketers. It will help you together insights and inspiration. If you have any questions or doubts, please feel free to reach out to me via linkedin or at the Product Marketing Summit I will be looking forward to meeting you all. Thank you and stay safe.
