What will you be discussing at Product Marketing Summit Chicago?
Zack Wenthe: I'm so fortunate to get to talk about evangelism and how a product marketing organization is actually best suited to run a an evangelism program. Um I obviously picked this topic because it's near and dear to my heart. One, it's my job, but two, I think there's a unique opportunity to control and own and enhance the messaging and storytelling that's coming out of product marketing. Um and not entirely rely on just your executives to deliver this message, but really being able to amplify this topic to the entire organization, sales, pre sales, customer success. All of them can can tell better stories, and product marketing can be the conduit to those stories.
If you could share one piece of advice to product marketers who are just getting into the industry, what would it be?
Zack Wenthe: As a new product marketer, one of the most important things I think to learn or to focus on is just writing better content and that can be written copy-style content. That can be blog posts, that could be stories. But if you can express emotion and connect with an audience, whether that's an internal audience, like your sales teams or an external audience, like your customers, you're going to be successful in product marketing.
