What are some win-loss best practices?
Braydon Anderson: Hi, my name is Brandon Anderson. The VP of Operations at clozd. The common question I get are what are someone lost best practices? The first one I would give is, and this is advice that I received when I interviewed the VP of Product Marketing at Avalara to when I asked him a similar question and he said, start the damn program. Don't get caught up in trying to make it perfect right off the bat. Just start the program and make sure you adapt and adjust along the way. The second piece of feedback is to know which channel is right for you to collect win lost feedback, whether it's only interviews, only surveys or a combination of both.
How do you impact win rate with win-loss analysis?
Braydon Anderson: Another common question I get is how do you impact your win rate with win loss analysis. Understanding why you win and lose is one of the best ways to increase your overall win rate. As you collect feedback, you'll really start to understand your strengths and your weaknesses at clozd. We identify the strengths and weaknesses by tagging positive and negative decision drivers on every piece of win loss feedback that we collect. You can then clearly identify what your strengths and weaknesses are at that point, harness and build upon your strengths and go fix those weaknesses. By doing so, you'll win more sales opportunities and increase your overall win rate.
