Speakers: Anna Borbotko
Anna Borbotko: Hi product marketeers. My name is Anna Borbotko and I'm a product marketing leader at Tomtom., Tomtom is a mapping and location technology that helps people find their way in the world, whether by using their car, mobile application, truck or platform. And although we are famous for our consumer business today, we mostly focus on the B2B world.
What will you be discussing at Product Marketing Summit Amsterdam?
Anna Borbotko: As product marketers, we hear often requests from sales that was supposed to be done yesterday, and the content wish list is typically endless. Therefore, as a product marketing team, you almost become as a content production factory. At the Product Marketing Summit in Amsterdam, I'll be telling a story of an alternative view on sales enablement, typical dilemmas and giving some practical tips on how to deliver best value as an A-class solo PMM Or as a PMM team
If you could share one piece of advice to PMMs who are just getting into the industry, what would it be?
Anna Borbotko: If I could only give one piece of advice to product marketers who are just starting into the industry, I would say never assume, study your customer and don't ask for permission, always do the right thing. There will be a lot of times when teams and different people will want you to go in their direction, but you are the voice of the customer and you are the choreographer, not a dancer.
