Speaker: Nishanth Kadiyala

Nishanth Kadiyala: Hi, I'm Nishanth Kadiyala. I'm a product marketer who turned into a product manager. I'm really excited to meet you guys at the Development Marketing Summit. See you soon.

What will you be discussing at the upcoming Developer Marketing Summit?

Nishanth Kadiyala: I'm really excited to partner with Jeremy and Ginevra on the topic of "Canary Testing for Your Messaging". Essentially we'll be chatting about a few best practices to come up with the appropriate messaging for your developer audience.

What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?

Nishanth Kadiyala: Developers are a truly unique person, with some interesting quirks, so I'll be chatting about some of the key characteristics of developers and some frameworks to win them over.

Why do you think it is important to shine the light on developer marketing?

Nishanth Kadiyala: The two major reasons for the rise of developer marketing. One, it's the fact that regular product marketing tactics are not good enough for developers because they're someone who is used to building their own stuff, they're used to free stuff So bringing them from free or open source to buying your product is a highly complex problem. And, moreover, the second side of it is that there are more and more developers in the world, that's because there's a huge amount of digital transformation across every industry, and that only means that the number of developers that you'll have to talk to will be exponentially increasing over the next decade. So it helps to attend conferences like Developer Marketing Summit and learn a little bit about how are others solving this problem and a tag team to give them the best experience.

Which other sessions are you looking forward to watching at the Developer Marketing Summit?

Nishanth Kadiyala: A couple of other sessions that I'm really excited about and I would recommend you guys to attend as well, are one "How to Build & Engage Developer Communities", and number two "Developer Marketing Trends in 2022". This is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best people out there. And I hope you guys can make it. See you soon, bye-bye.
