Speaker: Nate Vogel
Nate Vogel: Hello I'm Nate Vogel, Vice president of go to market enablement here at Gong.
What topic will you be discussing at the Competitive Intelligence Summit?
Nate Vogel: The topic we'll be discussing is that we had a big launch here at Gong on a new mission and vision messaging initiative with enablement and product marketing. And we'll talk about that a lot of highlights, a few low lights, definitely some lessons learned, and we're excited to share that with you.
What other sessions are you looking forward to watching at the Competitive Intelligence Summit?
Nate Vogel: Hey, I'm really excited for this summit. There's some great sessions. I'm looking at the schedule here. I'm most excited about this back room to boardroom, elevating the role of competitive enablement. From Clara at Slack, looks just awesome. Another one it's a panel competitive intelligence strategies, can easily become scale so stale. So how do you avoid that pitfall? That's a panel content looks great. Can't wait!
If you could share one piece of advice to competitive intelligence specialists who are just getting into the industry, what would it be?
Nate Vogel: One piece of advice, I've been in enablement for over 10 years. I had run at Tableau and Salesforce and now Gong and I've always respected and appreciated taking the stance of always when you are in competitive sharing to always lead with your own solution or platform first to reinforce our own value prop and surely make sure that you're focusing on that. I think competitive intelligence is super important, but I also think it's important that we're all doing the best we can to showcase our own companies solution. So let's just play nicely and make sure we focus our own solution. So that's my tip.
