You're gonna walk away with three techniques that you can put into play to make your messaging more human and more resonant with your buyer.
What is your best piece of product marketing advice?
Emma Stratton: My best advice for products marketers is to practice seeing your product through the eyes of your customer. A great way to do. This is to actually do a 15 minute exercise where you close your eyes and imagine that you are actually your customer. Try to imagine what their day looks like, the problems that they have in front of them, the goals they're trying to achieve. What does it feel like? What does it look like? How would they describe it? These will all help you come up with stronger positioning and messaging, and it also connects you to the messaging process and makes it all a heck of a lot easier. So that is my best advice to you, radical empathy for your customer.
