And ever since I've enjoyed product outside work, I mentor woman budding woman, especially in the South asian community. On the personal side, I love art and have a keen eye for paint, painting and candle making.
What will you be discussing at the upcoming Product-Led Summit Toronto?
Sabah Qazi: At the product lead summit, I will be discussing the PM's trump card, which is stakeholder alignment and management. This is a very underrated skill, but it's a critical one p.m. s. work across multiple teams and it can get very daunting to get alignment when working cross functionally. I hope with my talk, I can share some tips that we can use to get alignment or across stakeholders, such that we can deliver results and launch our products.
What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?
Sabah Qazi: Since stakeholder management is a combination of hard skills plus soft skills, I wish to help the audience here take away practical tips that will help them prepare, get stakeholder alignment. I've learned this from my mentors, multiple coaches and through my years of experience, and I'm hoping I can share this with the audience depending on the size of the company, stakeholder involvement wearies. And with these steps, I'm hoping the outcome of my topic will be a few clear suggestions that product managers can use when working with multiple teams.
Which other sessions are you looking forward to attending at the Summit?
Sabah Qazi: I'm excited for in person summits. After the long two year break, we've had to take. The conference covers a spectrum of topics which are related with product management. So I'm excited for all of them. But if I have the name of you, I would say the main ones that come to my mind include panel discussion where she has product innovation, the roundtable discussion how product managers are involved in the ML work that happens. So I'm looking forward to all the talks for sure.
