Video Transcript

Speaker: Esra Yetis, Principal Product Innovation & Design Strategist, LSEG & SmartCo

Esra Yetis: Hi, everyone. I'm Esra. I'm a product innovation and design strategist based in London. I'm working in cybersecurity at the London Stock Exchange Group for SmartCo, a boutique tech consultancy. I'm coming from a consultancy background and throughout my career, I worked in various different industries and mostly organizations going through large scale transformation. And that had identified the need to change their ways of working while transforming their business and technology.

Esra Yetis: We will explore the complexities of designing for large scale enterprises and gaining a strategic perspective on how product impacts in organizations dynamics operations and people. You will also learn how to anticipate the effects of change, adopting strategic thinking and transformative approaches to enhance conversations in this complex ecosystem.

Esra Yetis: The products and tech community have been going through what we call the forming phase. And on the whole, we now have established standards and best practice. Those practices are widely accepted and proven to be valuable and practices such as being agile and in software development, having a design thinking mindset and being product led, many organizations are doing their best to keep up with that. However, now our challenges are becoming more sophisticated than ever before. We need to reassess and rethink our ways of working as we always should.

Esra Yetis: Well, nothing beats coming together as product enthusiast to share the same physical space. It takes you away from your screen and day to day business and Amsterdam is an amazing city. I have attended PLA twice before and there has been a great selection of speakers and panel discussions.

Esra Yetis: My number one tip for product leaders is be adaptive to change. Change is inevitable. And if you are not responding to change, doing anything differently, then you are potentially blocking your products and your team's potential to grow.
