Speaker: Molly Martin

Where were you, both physically & mentally, in your health & fitness journey BEFORE joining Phases of Fit?

Molly Martin: Hello. So before I started phases of fit, I had started doing like Facebook Challenges Monthly, Facebook challenges through different associations like the American Heart Association. Um The Wounded Warrior Project. There was a push up challenge so many per month. Um So there wasn't really a structured um workout routine. And um as far as my mentality goes, like I was pretty motivated to um start the program. Um It took me a long time to actually jump on board and Madison would check in with me, um you know, every few weeks and see how I was doing. And if I was ready to join and she'd give me some suggestions and was just patient and waited for me when the time was right. And it was great. It was wonderful. Thanks for the reminders and I'm glad it worked out. I just have been very happy with everything I've learned since.

Where are you at NOW? What are your biggest accomplishments, both mentally & physically, since joining our program?

Molly Martin: So, where am I at now? With my, um, workouts and my nutrition and health. Um, I used to get really upset with myself when I'd skip a workout or I'd miss a workout if it was too busy or I was sick or something, camp with the kids and now it's, it's more doable. I feel like I can maintain, you know, if I miss a couple a week or even if I miss like a whole week, I don't feel like I lose. Um, I don't think I go back. I don't feel like I go back as much as I used to now that I have more of a structured routine. Um, since continuing with my workout program with phases of fit, um, and just continue to be self driven. Um, I, I check in every once in a while with Madison and Vanessa, but it's, um, been a little more distance but they're still there for questions and concerns that I've had. I've also, um, since having a passion for my health and wellness journey, I've enrolled into the ISS a, um, personal training course with, um, the specialty being the corrective exercises. Um, I'm really excited about that and, um, yeah, I can't wait for what the future holds.

What advice do you have for anyone on the fence about joining Phases of Fit?

Molly Martin: My advice for anyone that's on the fence of joining phases of it. Um just do it. You won't regret it even if it's just for a month. Um the skills you learn, help you live a sustainable life. Um You are able to adapt all of these habits into your life. Me being well, I was a single mom of three young girls. Um. Mhm. I needed to do this for myself to be the best version of me, for myself, for my kids, for my family, for my coworkers, for my friends, for everyone. Like this has made me a better person all around. I take my me time more seriously. I know when I'm, I'm getting frustrated and I am starting to um getting just irritated over everything like I can see that and I can control it and I can be more aware of that. I'm like, hey, you know what, I'm gonna go exercise or I'm gonna go read a book or I'm gonna go for a walk or I'm gonna take just five minutes and go to the bathroom and get away from my kids for a while. I mean, you do what you gotta do, but it definitely was the best thing I've done. I am, I've learned so much and I, I just, it should be something that everyone does. So they, if they don't know how to do and they don't know how to eat for themselves or calculate their macros or do certain exercises to improve their core strength. I mean, I'm doing this so I can function daily. You guys, I wasn't doing this to play sports. I was just doing this to be able to live my life more comfortably and it helped amazingly. So definitely you should do it.
