What has long COVID taken from you?
Marjorie : Long COVID has taken everything from me that I worked for all my life to achieve. I did everything. Absolutely everything that society told me to do in order to be considered a productive member of society. And then one day in March of 2020 I went to work and brought home a house guest that would never leave as a result. I I can't even count all the things and all the people that I have lost simply because I contracted COVID-19 at my place is important. But what I do know is that the place that I caught COVID-19 in Atlanta, Georgia with a major trauma hospital operating at full capacity in 2019 going into 2020 and COVID-19 devastated not just me but that entire hospital to the point that it closed its doors in 2022. So COVID-19 has the ability to close down a whole hospital. I I don't know what society thought it would do to me.
