Hello. Extreevaganza. It's Tabitha Pardo with 22 2 None. Last year, our organization were the recipients of the $5000 Community Choice Grant. 22 2 None is a nonprofit that brings awareness to the veteran suicide epidemic as well as providing assistance to veterans in need. We are able to bring awareness through our annual hikes as well as our annual runs. We work towards prevention in our outreach programs as well as providing financial assistance for veterans in need. I am happy to announce that the $5,000 grant was used here locally in Gaylord, throughout the year. We were able to provide septic repair for a local veteran. We are able to provide a meal for over 60 veterans and their families through our monthly muster in July. And we were also able to most recently and perhaps the most heartwarming impact we were able to make was with a local combat veteran and his young family. They found themselves in hard times and were living in a local hotel and we were able to secure funds and get them into a home with the potential for them to purchase it in the future. So I would like to say thank you for choosing us for last year's Community Choice Grant.
That being said, I would like to say Happy Holidays, happy Extreevaganza thank you to the Otsego County locals as well as the OCF for your continued support of the veteran community. God Bless America!
